Health Post: Further Update on my Psoriasis: *Pictures*

Hi everyone,

Last year I done two health posts on my Psoriasis which you can check out here  and here is a review of a product I was sent if you haven't seen it yet and I just wanted to give you guys an update on how everything is for me and let me know about yours too? I was very insecure on posting pictures until I realised after I chatted with some people that it may be a bad idea to be so insecure because I want to help people stay positive and be confident in there skin, so I hope the difference in these elbow pictures really help.

Above are two pictures of my elbows Left and Right and as you can see my left one is not at all bad but when you see my right, it was really bad beforehand until recently I started using Dermalex again and it's clearing up so well. I actually see parts of my skin through my psoriasis which makes me feel so happy and confident when wearing t-shirts as people often just stare at me like I am an alien or something, it's quite rude I always think but I understand as they just question what it is and it might gross them out but when it's summer I am in no way wearing a cardigan or jumper just to make others happy. I really want to credit this product because I used it last year and it helped, but I stopped using it after a month or two because I lost track with Uni work and everything was building up too much stress on me so I just brushed it to the back of my mind.

I have it also on my scalp which can make me so insecure when I want to brush my hair fully back up in a bun or just back with a pony tail, braid etc. but recently again I ordered some new scalp treatment and it's really working, I have to say I have a rather rubbish phone so the photo quality is some what poor but I promise this treatment does work, just please take my word for it.

You can clearly see it on my forehead and slightly on my hair which is hard to stay on top of all the time as I am not always in front of a mirror but it has cleared it up so well and I have also tired to stop itching it as much because that's when it peals and it's not letting the treatment settle. I know there is multiple other serious treatments out there that can get rid of psoriasis but I don't want to risk the heavy symptoms or conditions that can be received afterwards as I have read on so many websites and heard from people that have it that the side effects are so underrated as everyone wants rid of it quick they don't want to even think of them which in my opinion is ridiculous. I want to take my time and also help my diet out as I am not the fittest person in the world or healthiest.

Below are a further two images of my knees that I will later work on after my elbow is done clearing which won't be too long now if I stay on track with not too much sugar (chocolate haha) in my body and less food which will be hard but I am willing to give this a proper try so people can get a further understand of what this condition does and to help people realise that some treatments may be worth that extra hard earned money.

I have done a my into depth with it on my first post so didn't want to just jump into that again I thought why not show the pictures which has taken me nearly a year due to insecurity but if it will help others then I want to do it. It can be such a big deal with someone that has psoriasis to wear a skirt, dress, t-shirt with no jumper etc so if you see someone that may have this condition 1. Do not stare at them and 2. If your friend/family member etc asks how they look tell them outfit wise don't say how they look with their psoriasis because that shouldn't matter. Bring that positivity to your lives and others around you!

The Products that I am rambling on about in this post are listed below and as I was sent a free one before I wanted to let you guys know that Boots do it as well and I will have a link below for that. If this post has helped you then please let me know or let me know if you want to know anything else and I will try my best to update regularly on this Health matter, also pass it to someone you may know that it could help.

Health Post: Products that could help sufferers of Psoriasis

Hi everyone ---- HAPPY NEW YEAR!,

Third day into the New Year and I am doing my first post of 2014 which is surprisingly going to be a Health Post! I hope everyone had a fantastic 2013 and continues to do so for the year ahead....Enjoy!

I previously done a psoriasis post last year with the main title being 'Health Post' and I am considering doing a lot more of these as I am the type of person that gets quite easily stressed about things and it can start irritating me and then I constantly scratch. I often get asked at the hairdressers if it's sore and my reply is weirdly ''No'' all the time, perhaps just used to having it I guess that's just how it works with me. However, recently Soap & Glory are getting more and more attention (which I do love, because all their products are amazing) but one of them stood out to me which was called 'Flake Away' [picture below] and I researched some reviews on it and there are a few sufferers of psoriasis that have used it and said it really did work after a certain amount of weeks, inside the product has SHEA butter which is also meant to be good for it which I will continue talking about with the Body Butter from The Body Shop in a moment but Flake Away has a sandy texture to it and once you rub it on you must then wait till all of it is away to rinse out, I have just tried it so I will try let everyone know some feedback from it in a month's time.

The second product I got before Christmas time upon doing shopping for my best friend in The Body Shop for a bath set was some Body Butter[picture below], now I never usually get these type of products because I know they irritate my psoriasis and I will be scratching for ages which I don't like because it makes me look like I have something else, so I asked the lovely lady in the shop which one she thought would be good and she said a lot of psoriasis sufferers have been saying how much it helps with moisturising and softening it for it to eventually go away after a while. Inside the body butter is SHEA and that is what is standing out to people because inside Flake Away product it has it too so perhaps there is a pattern going on with it? I have no idea as of yet as I am just starting like any of you that come across this post and want to start it yourselves, I am so into trying new ointments and products for psoriasis because I have been suffering with it for years and it can affect your confidence in many ways which is so unfair. I would definitely give these products a go and leave comments letting others know, even myself how it transformed yours to better or worse?

Dermalex Psoriasis Ointment Review

Hi guys!! Back for a quick post and possibly more in the weeks to come ..

I was sent this package to review this product which is to help with my psoriasis, I asked them on twitter if they'd like me to do a reply in a blog post as I done my previous one I wanted to do a follow up in some way so other people like myself that have it will see how it helped me out, unfortunately I don't want to actually take pictures of my psoriasis because I don't wanna gross people out and it has nothing to do with me being ashamed, it's just my personal space that I don't need acknowledged without people knowing visually - anyways my follow up to review this Dermalex Psoriasis Ointment is VERY positive and I can't believe it, it took the flaring down so much and I'm not so much red anymore, of course I do eat some sweets and other stuff that is not good for it so that is perhaps why I still have it and also stress with Uni but it has helped with my scratching and redness because when it gets red, as sufferers of this will know - it stings like hell!!

I didn't keep a diary of dates but I wish I did and maybe I might start then let you guys know in a couple of months if it's totally cleared? I might try it but I am extremely busy at the moment so you will all need to just keep an eye out for it ..but I do strongly recommend this Ointment and for me you can see results literally with in a day, may not be the case for everyone but mine has been so bad that I did.  I still have it bad on my head and I can't seem to get rid which is slightly annoying as I am hoping to dye it soon for the first time and I'm just worried for my psoriasis if anything as to what will happen ..I am hoping a tolerable sting and that's it, so fingers crossed and I'll be sure to take pictures and post my experience on here. Sorry for the delay on this and also for blog posts in general as like I said before I have just been so busy with Uni which does suck but not totally as I am enjoying it but just for my blog and TV shows HA.

Enjoy your week everyone &+ Happy Blogging : )
