Michelle Rodriguez takes the spotlight in long black gown with daring plunging neckline

Michelle Rodriguez took the spotlight on the red carpet as she attended the V&A Hollywood Costume dinner at London's Victoria and Albert Museum, She was seen in a long black backless laced gown that had a daring plunging neckline and a short train at the back, she looked very glamorous and elegant. I really enjoy watching Michelle in films as she is such a brilliant actress so it was no surprise seeing her do just as good strutting her stuff on the red carpet.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen honoured for fashion label The Row

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were honoured recently for their fashion label The Row, they were attending the WSJ Magazine's Innovator Of The Year Awards and accepted their accolade for the Fashion category's Innovator of the Year. Ashley had on a black silk gown that had a plunging neckline and teamed it with a maroon bag. Mary-Kate had on a blue suit and a pair of gold sandals, she teamed her outfits with a black shoulder bag, both bags are from their label The Row which has helped them achieve their high profiles for their iconic style.

Best Dressed: Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards

Katie Piper had on a blue printed jump suit with a racy lacey black shirt. She teamed it with black heels and a black purse.

Nicole Scherzinger had on a white backless dress that was slightly revealing but still kept that elegant feel to it. She teamed it with hot pink heels.

Kimberly Walsh had on a light blue gown that was laced at the bottom and was patterned. The top part of the gown had sparkly pieces and small laced sleeves at the shoulders.

Kelly Osbourne looked chic in a silver and lilac dress that had was printed in floral all over and she matched it with silver peep-toe heels.

Heidi Range looked very glamorous in a long back mermaid gown that went out into a short train at the bottom. It had a sheer laced panel at the top part also and she teamed her dress with a silver purse.

Last night's Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards definitely was a good turn out for the fashion, they definitely stepped it up from the usual outfits they have for events in the UK and I picked my top 5 who were Katie Piper, Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Walsh, Kelly Osbourne and Heidi Range. My favourite of the night was between Nicole and Heidi, Nicole's was quite revealing at the back but still gave it that elegant feel and Heidi looked stunning in her black mermaid gown that went out at the bottom for a short train.

Wrapping Up For Winter - Fashion must haves!

Are you starting to feel the cold air in the mornings when heading to work and college? I definitely am, so I thought I would make a winter checklist of all the clothing I just might need during the chilly season. Not too expensive, but definitely not so cheap that my new jacket turns out to be so thin that I get drenched in the rain, I’ve tried to go for a happy medium on the prices.

I know most people now prefer online shopping, but I do like going the odd trip into town, because I can try my picks on there and then rather having them delivered to my home, hating them and having to return them, only to go through the whole cycle again. If you think I’ve missed anything from my checklist just leave a comment and I’ll add it in!
