Rita Ora is the new face for Madonna's teen label Material Girl

Madonna and her daughter Lourdes have just announced that Rita Ora is the new face for their teen label Material Girl. Rita Ora is a British Singer and has her debut album 'ORA' out now on Itunes, she is replacing model Georgia May Jagger. Rita was seen posing in various outfits that the label sells in US store Macy's around London in May. Madonna and Lourdes later commented on the singer saying ‘Rita is a talented beauty but what really drew us to her is the confidence she oozes through her music and her unique sense of style,’ they said in a statement. ‘On stage or off, in photos or in the street – she’s a magnet!' Rita has said: ''To be handpicked by Madonna and her incredibly cool daughter Lola is the largest of all compliments." She also added in about the label: 'Material Girl means fashion, it means confidence. It means belief, inspiration and the freedom to really express yourself.'

'Kardashian Kollection' for Dorothy Perkins revealed

   

  

The Kardashian Kollection is here, It's going to be available at selected Dorothy Perkins stores in the UK from the 8th of November. I blogged about this before and I also blogged about it on ScotCampus so more people knew about it because I really can't wait to buy some of their stuff. I was looking at some of the clothing they have for their collection and it all looks very lovely with some dresses, shorts, blazers, blouses, coats, leggings, jeans, bags etc. There was even a few dresses with matching purses that would really nice and glamorous for Christmas and New Year, they have over 100 pieces that are going to be sold. 

Commenting on the partnership, a spokesman for Dorothy Perkins says 'This was an opportunity we couldn’t miss. Knowing how popular they are and the huge interest they attract, it enables our customer to buy in to their lifestyle and emulate their look at a great price.'

The Kardashian Sisters are going to be at the Atrium at Westfield London on Saturday 10th November at 12.30pm. Wristbands will be distributed from Westfield London from 9am and only the first 500 people to collect a numbered wristband will be eligible to enter the signing queue. As this is based on a first come first served basis, this does not guarantee that you will meet or obtain a signature from the Kardashian sisters, as there is a fixed time they will be at Westfield London to meet and greet their fans.

Alexa Chung confirms that she is going to launch her own clothing label

In an Interview with Alexa Chung in the Japenese Fashion Magazine 'Numéro Tokyo'  Alexa said '' Yes, I’m definitely going to do that. I’m looking into it right now. '' '' I’ve got nothing to lose, it’s a bit of fun. In this current era of celebrity no one believes you actually design the stuff anyway, even though I sketch everything myself.'So if it sucks I can say I had nothing to do with it, and if it’s really good I can say ‘Here are the drawings, it’s all my own work!' '' Alexa has always been apart of British Fashion and  is now trying to make her own way up the ladder. In the front cover she is in an English country garden wearing a felt fedora and ladylike lace dress. The second shot shows the Alexa wearing printed matching trousers and a blazer, she has on checkered shirt underneath, atop a red London bus with the Houses of Parliament glinting in the background.
